How We Choose The Products We Carry
One of the reasons you won’t see an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink selection of products at our store is simple — we’re very discerning about the products we offer.
First and foremost, the product must be non-toxic. Secondly, it must be a great product.
We become aware of potential products by attending trade shows, reading blogs and otherwise keeping an eye out for new and innovative products. But once we target a product, the work really begins. We talk with manufacturers and seek outside opinions and independent testing when available. We consider a manufacturer’s track record and how forthcoming they are to our inquiries. In short, we make every reasonable effort to validate a manufacturer’s claim of nontoxicity.
Once we are satisfied that a product is indeed toxin free we consider the quality and functionality. Only when all of these criterion are met will it be stocked and offered for sale in our store.
