We pack this with my daughter's snack every day. At first I envisioned her prying the container open against her belly and having her crackers and cheese fly all over the lunchroom-but I had a little training session with her and all has gone well. She is 7 and does not need help to open this at school. The container is airtight enough for her cheese to stay soft and the crackers crunchy. The seams are all smooth at the divider. My daughter sleds down snowbanks with this in her backpack and it hasn't dented yet. I will likely order a sandwich sized one next.
